Amelia Meckler left New York with starry eyes and a BFA degree and now considers Seattle ‘Home Sweet Home’. Part of what makes it so sweet is theaters like The Schmee, where Amelia is back for more outdoor fun, after having directed An Incovenient Squirrel a few summers back. Other Schmee roles include Creation of the World, Kvetch, and ‘Zones in ’05. She has also worked with several other Seattle theaters such as GreenStage, Balagan, Macha Monkey, Taproot and others.
