Directions

Theater Schmeater is easy to find and easy to get to. Located on Capitol Hill in Seattle on Summit Avenue between Pike and Pine, it is a 3 minute cab ride or 10 minute walk from most of downtown - and we are just 4 blocks east of the Convention Center. Open Map

Public Transport

Bus routes 7,10, & 11 stop right at Pine and Summit (around the corner from Theater Schmeater) coming from downtown or Capitol Hill. And bus routes 14 & 43 stop at Bellevue and Pine, just a brief walk up the hill on Pine brings you to our door.

Driving

If you drive, street parking is tight on Friday and Saturday nights. But, if you arrive around 6pm, and go to dinner, you shouldn't have much trouble finding a free spot. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND PARKING IN THE GARAGE across the street from the theater. This is now a private, permit-only lot, and should you find your way into it, you will have difficulty getting back out. There is a $65 fee charged by its owners to open the garage after hours. A recommended alternative is the lot located at Summit and Pike, just south of the corner intersection, adjacent to the C-K Graphics building. This lot is $5 in the evenings, and doesn't close.

Go East on Pike

From I-5 Northbound

Take Exit 166, Olive Way
Right on Bellevue
Left on Pine
Right on Summit
Theater Schmeater is on the left.

From I-5 Southbound

Take Exit 166, Stewart St/Denny Way
Make a left on Denny Way, the second light, and go up the hill.
Right on Bellevue
Left on Pine
Right on Summit
